See, iam just wondering what the American people think is going to happen now that a; seemingly more sane person has taken over the presidency. Stupid question? perhaps, or maybe not, what are you really hoping to see now that Barack Obama is in control of the all Mighty West. This is probably the worst time he couldve taken over with tremendous pressure not only from American people but also the rest of the world. Yes we can...but can we by just demanding??
I am an american of 44 years. Obama does represent a big shift on our society. Regardless of what he does going forward, America has made a leap, and gotten past our racial barrier in electing this man.
ReplyDeleteMy hopes are that he is very successful, and that as a society we improve on our relations with each other. I am skeptical of course, but excited to see this in my lifetime.
Yes, being South African, it brought back some memories from when Old president Nelson Mandela, took control of a crazy country based on racist ethics, where we werent allowed, to live, talk, be friends with white people and non compliance would have you arrested. Twelve years later, we are still struggling to get out of the hole; eventhought major changes has been made without a doubt: like a promising economy, great exports, etc. people are still not satisfied with the time it takes to rebuild or rather get a country to its best
